Taratsa Open bar is located at the entrance of the city of Lefkas. The concept behind this bar was inspired by its position - a terrace. A typical Greek terrace can be recognized by the steel rebar protruding from the concrete slab. The design is based on rebar columns that are introduced at the edges of the terrace. Plants are placed and left to grow inside the columns, as if the place was an abandoned construction site.

Special attention is given to the exterior of the bar. During its operation hours, lighting becomes a key design element that helps convert the “abandoned terrace” into a summer cocktail bar in the heart of Lefkas. The industrial roof of the bar with the rusty metal mesh creates a strong contrast to the bright led surface and the wooden counter top of the bar.
